CBR @ Oklahoma Baptist University

You're invited to Oklahoma Baptist University's campus on November 1, 2022 for a special event from The Center for Baptist Renewal held in collaboration with The Hobbs Lecture at OBU. The day will feature the following:

  • Luncheon featuring a discussion of CBR's vision and mission

  • Pastoral Roundtable on "Retrieval in the Local Church" featuring Matt Boswell (The Trails Church, Frisco, TX), John Mark Hart (Christ Community Church, OKC), Oren Martin (Watermark Church, Dallas, TX), and Bill Watson (Lake Highlands Baptist Church, Dallas, TX).

  • Worship led by hymn-writer and CBR Fellow Matt Boswell

  • Plenary Talk by David Bebbington on "Evangelicals: Then and Now"

  • Panel Response featuring Thomas Kidd, Nathan Finn, and Matt Boswell

Additional opportunities for fellowship, a campus tour, and more will be available on-site.

Attendees are also invited to remain in town for OBU's 2022 Hobbs Lecture, to be given by David Bebbington on Wednesday, November 2 at 10:00 am.
